Raymond W. Kratz Raymond William Kratz, 96, Luxemburg, passed away Thursday afternoon, February 25, 2016 comforted by family. He was born in Montpelier, WI on January 15, 1920 to the late Edward and Bertha (Quade) Kratz. He was baptized February 18, 1920 by Pastor H. A. Handrich and confirmed on May 20, 1934 by Pastor R. F. W. Pautz at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Montpelier where he remained an active member his entire life. On June 13, 1943 he was united in marriage to Elsie E. Kasten at St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, Maribel, WI. Their union was blessed with two sons, Gary and Donald and one daughter, Janice. Survivors include two sons, Gary (Bonnie) Kratz, Luxemburg; Donald (Jo-Ann) Kratz, Arlington Heights, IL; one son in law, Kevin (Jane) Lincoln, Green Bay; two grandsons, Douglas Kratz, Neenah; Ryan (Anna) Kratz, Ann Arbor, MI; one granddaughter, Kirsten (Matt) Fleissig, St. Louis, Mo; three great-grandchildren, Elijah Kratz, Nora Sue Kratz, August Kratz; one sister in law, Shirley Kasten, Ocala, FL; many nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by Elsie Kratz, his wife of 72 years; one daughter, Janice Lincoln; one daughter in law, Susan M. Kratz; his mother in law and father in law, Albert and Emilie Kasten; one brother, Lester (Myrtle) Kratz; two sisters, Leona (Arnold) Mueller, Vernis (Ewald) Prahl; four sisters in law, Beata (Walter) Gauger, Clara (Raymond) Ihlenfeld, Ruth (Ewald) Duescher, Selma Kasten; five brothers in law, Herbert (Norma) Kasten, Fred (Ruth) (Malvina) Kasten, Raymond (Sylvia) Kasten, Paul Kasten, August Kasten. Friends may call at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Montpelier, 9:30 to 11:15 am, Tuesday, March 1, 2016. Funeral 11:30 am Tuesday at the church with Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating.
