Domingo W. Bongle, 01/25/1918 - 03/27/2016 Rosemary A. Bongle, 11/23/1925 - 03/29/201 Domingo W. Bongle DOMINGO "DIGGER" W. BONGLE, 98 of Luxemburg died Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2016, in Kewaunee. He was born on January 25, 1918 to the late Henry and Josephine (Heldmann) Bongle. On February 17, 1945 he married the love of his life, Rosemary Glass in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. He was a WWII Veteran and a member of the AMVETS Post 51 of Sturgeon Bay. His enjoyments included golfing and was proud to be a member of the Door County League Baseball Hall of Fame. He is survived by his wife, Rosemary and their four children, Diane (Jerry) DeMeuse, Pulaski; Dan (Joyce) Bongle, Fort Atkinson; David Bongle, Sturgeon Bay; Dennis (Yvonne) Bongle, Luxemburg; one sister, Ruby (Don) Meikle, Fond du Lac; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Marvin, Earl, Bud Bongle; one sister, Rita Jaeger. As per Domingo's wishes his funeral service was private and was held at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 with Rev. Milton Suess officiating his funeral Mass. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg was held with full military honors delivered by the AMVETS Post 51 of Sturgeon Bay and the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262 of Luxemburg. Rosemary A. Bongle ROSEMARY A. BONGLE, 90 of Luxemburg died two days following the death of her husband of 71 years, Domingo W. Bongle on Tuesday, March, 29, 2016 at a Green Bay Hospital. She was born on November 23, 1925 and adopted by the late George and Lillian (Long) Glass. She married the love of her life, Domingo Bongle on February 17, 1945 in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Rosemary was a wife, mother and homemaker. She enjoyed making her home look like a show place. She was an avid QVC watcher and buyer. Rosemary also enjoyed watching many of the daily soap operas on TV. During the summer months she enjoyed the flowers in her yard and the beautiful woodwork that her husband created. Survivors include her four children, Diane (Jerry) DeMeuse, Pulaski; Dan (Joyce) Bongle, Fort Atkinson; David Bongle, Sturgeon Bay, Dennis (Yvonne) Bongle, Luxemburg; seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband. Friends may call at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, Wednesday, April 06, 2016 between 9:45 and 10:45 am.
