Russell J. Dhuey Russell J. Dhuey of Casco passed away peacefully surrounded by his family, 20 days shy of his 90th birthday on Thursday, July 07, 2016. He was born in the town of Lincoln, July 27, 1926 to the late John and Mary (Finendael) Dhuey. On June 10, 1947 he married Mercedes M. Dejardin at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Russell served in the United States Army in the Red Arrow Division during WWII. He was a dairy farmer for 33 years on the corner of C & S in the township of Lincoln. He also was employed with the US Plywood in Algoma, Sturgeon Bay Shipyards and Kewaunee Engineering were he retired 1983 after 32 years. He enjoyed the outdoors in his yard and workshop, playing cards, spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Mercedes and their five children, Dennis (special friend, Cecilia Jossart) Dhuey, New Franken; David (Linda) Dhuey, Little Suamico; Diane (Dave) Elsen, Suamico; Dale (Gail) Dhuey, Green Bay; Daniel (Barb) Dhuey, New Franken; Eleven grandchildren, Eric (Patti) Dhuey, Jessica (Mark) Durham, Chris (Angie) Dhuey, Tania Scrima, Scott (Brooke) Dhuey, Sarah Jacobs, Paul (Jenny) Jacobs, B, Michael (special friend, S. Marie) Dhuey, Mandi (Branden) Luehring, Nick (special friend, Serreah Ullman) Dhuey, Josh (special friend, Josie Vania) Dhuey; nine great-grandchildren, Lauren, Tara, Bryce, Quinn, Grant, Harper, Owen, Evan and Bryce; one sister, Carol Jean Devillers, Kiel; two sisters in law, Elsie Dhuey, Two Rivers, Dorothy Dhuey, Hobart; nieces and nephews. Russell was preceded in death by one daughter in law, Patricia Dhuey; one grandson in law, Brian Scrima; four brothers and one sister in law, Harold (Francine) Dhuey, Jim Dhuey, Goldie Dhuey, Joseph Dhuey; two sisters and two brothers in law, Emily (Alois) Laurent, Loretta (Louis) Thiry. Friends may call at St. Peter Church, Lincoln, E2591 County Road S, Casco, Wi. 54205, between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Monday, July 11, 2016. Funeral 11:00 am, Monday at the church with Rev. Steven Vanden Boogard and Deacon Paul Zenefski officiating. Burial in St. Peter Cemetery, Lincoln with full military rites at graveside by the Thibaudeau-Drossart Post 319, Casco.
