MAYNARD "Mink" H. GEIER Maynard "Mink" H. Geier , 84, formerly of Luxemburg, Wisconsin, died Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Rennes Nursing Home. He was born November 24, 1931 to the late Ralph M. and Mayme (Tebon) Geier. On November 30, 1950 Maynard married the love of his life, Elizabeth J. "Betty" Coel at St. Peter and St. Paul Church, Green Bay. She preceded him in death January 03, 2009. Maynard loved baseball, football and golf. He was a proud Packer fan attending all home games with his dad, brother-in-law or Betty. Maynard was an All Star pitcher in the minors with great potential to become a professional player (he chose the family life with his wife and daughters). He was an avid golfer, achieving a hole in one, twice during his career. Maynard and Betty traveled to Florida several winters to keep the golf season going. Maynard worked at Northern Paper Mill for several years while building his Real Estate Career. He became very successful (many times top sales person awards) and was able to leave factory work to pursue his Real Estate sales. He worked for Brice Realty in the early years, then started his own company. He also worked for ERA and Caldwell Brokers in the later years. He was much admired by his colleagues. Maynard loved his wife more than anything in this world and is so happy to be with her again!! Together they raised and enjoyed their family of four daughters; Sandra Emos, Barbara Coleman, Debra Daum and Pamela Ullmann. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Emos, Bellevue; Barbara (Wesley) Coleman, Kaukauna; Pamela Ullmann, Green Bay; eight grandchildren, April Cech, Jaclyn (Tim) Trinh, Scott Cech, Jason Kersine, Jeremiah Kersine, Christopher Kersine, Katie Willems and Robert Ullmann Jr.; seven great grandchildren, Desmond Coon, Kennedy Coon, Brianna Maloney, Derek Cech, Allan Willems, Jackson Kersine and Nicholas Ullmann, one sister, Darlene Radka, Green Bay; three sisters-in-law and one brother in law, Mary Thompson, Menasha; Roseanne Coel, Betty (Alfred) Coel, all of Oconto. He was preceded in death by his wife Betty; one daughter, Debra Daum; one son in law, John "Fox" Emos; one sister and three brothers in law, Shirley (Laurel) VanDrisse, Robert Leanna, Michael Radka; one sister in law and three brothers in law, Ben Thompson, Arthur (Lola) Coel and Arnold Coel. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, Tuesday, July, 19, 2016 from 3:30 to 6:30 pm. Closing parish prayer service 6:30 pm, Tuesday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am, Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at St. Mary’s Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Wednesday at the Church with the Reverend Milton Suess officiating.
