JANE E. PAIDER Jane E. Paider of Luxemburg, born on January 22, 1919 to the late John H. and Mary F. (Bruening)Jerabek in Kewaunee, passed away on Friday morning, July 22, 2016 peacefully with her family by her side at Anna’s House, New Franken. Upon graduation from Kewaunee High School in 1937, she began working as a dental assistant to Dr. E. Grady. She married Kenneth J. Paider on May 14, 1941 in Kewaunee at Holy Rosary Church. On September 1941, Ken left for service in WWII, during which she worked as a Price Clerk for the Office of Price Administration in the Kewaunee Court House. January of 1946, Kenneth returned from service and they made their permanent family home in Luxemburg, WI. In August of 1956, she began working at the Luxemburg Post Office as a temporary clerk, becoming a regular clerk, and eventually, Postmaster. She retired after serving 28 years in the Postal Service with special commendations for her dedication. Jane and her husband Kenneth celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage. She is survived by her four children and eleven grandchildren, Kathleen (Jim) Denissen and their children, Denice (Donald) Patz, Steven (fiancée Laurie) and Kim. Robert (Susan) Paider and their children, Kristina, Scott (Trish), and Jill. David (Barbara) Paider and their children, Cory (Bryan) Gross and Paula (Jud) Licht. Marilee (Dean) DeVillers and their children, Andrew (Nicole), Nathan, and Kathryn. Fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild. Two sisters, Mary Sevcik, Nora Deasy; one brother in law and one sister in law, Mark (Elaine) Paider, nieces and nephews. Jane was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband Kenneth; one brother, William (Dorothy) Jerabek; two brothers in law, Clarence Sevcik and Ray Deasy; two sisters in law and two brothers in law, Agatha (Ed) Sheffy, Charlotte (Russ) Frank; her father in law and her mother in law, Bert and Pauline Paider. She was a Member of the Christian Mother Society of St. Mary Parish Luxemburg , the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 262, and an honorable member of the National American Postmaster Society of America. She enjoyed her work, loved her home, and spent her leisure time after retirement oil painting and reading. She was dedicated to her husband and family, friends, and church. She will be remembered and missed by many for always lending a helping hand and for her wonderful apple pies. She spent her summers canning her garden’s produce and her winters knitting and baking cookies for the holidays. Family, friends, and the simple pleasures of visiting with them all were constant joys in Jane’s life. Friends may call at the McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG, 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Monday, July 25, 2016. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Monday. Visitation will continue between 8:45 and 9:45 am, Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, 1412 Main Street, Luxemburg. Funeral 10:00 am, Tuesday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess and Rev. Paul Paider officiating. Entombment at the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay. www.mcmahonfh.com. The family extends special thanks to the staff at Anna’s House who were her patient caregivers for the last nine years. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Mark and Elaine Paider, Marie Miller, Joanne Kollross, Mabel and Wally Kraynik, Wally and Donna Ferrier, and Jean Loberger, whose frequent visits brought joy to Jane’s days. Our family is appreciative of the nurses at Southern Hospice Care who gently guided Jane back home to Jesus and on to her new life.
