Roger L. Te Kulve Roger L. Te Kulve, 77, of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 15th, 2016 at Woodside Lutheran Home, Green Bay, WI. He was born October 28th, 1938 in Cedar Grove to the late John and Kathryn (Wynveen) Te Kulve. He attended Cedar Grove High School and graduated in 1956. He served his country for two years in the United States Army and was stationed in Ft. Hood, TX. On August 15th, 1959 he married Doris Harmelink at the First Reformed Church in Cedar Grove, WI. They recently celebrated 57 years of marriage. In 1971 he started Te Kulve Construction, where he had several people from the area working with him, including his son, daughters, son-in-law and several grandsons. Roger was well known throughout the community and involved in several community services. In 2003, Roger along with his wife, Doris, were honored by receiving the Luxemburg Community Service Award. He was a long time member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Luxemburg where he was very active in the church, especially in the choir. Roger was on the Luxemburg Fire Department for 35 years and the Luxemburg Rescue Squad for 17 years. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing, bowling and camping. He is survived by loving wife, Doris; his children Jodi (Gene) Seidl, Luxemburg; Cory (Janelle) Te Kulve, Luxemburg; Lee Ann (Dick) Salentine, Luxemburg; ten grandchildren, Brent (Sarah) Te Kulve; Josh Seidl; Staff Sgt. Nicholas (Rushina) Salentine; Brittany, his only god-daughter, (Paul) DeMeuse; Chris (Nicole) Seidl; Jordan (Ashley) Salentine; Zach (Heather) Seidl; Megan (special friend Brent) Te Kulve; Briana Salentine; Bryce Te Kulve, seven great-grandchildren, Michael Salentine; Mason Seidl; Jackson DeMeuse; Brandon DeMeuse; Brantley Seidl; Cayden Seidl; Logan Seidl, two brothers-in-law Richard (Grace) Harmelink, California; David (Pat) Harmelink, Sheboygan; sister-in-law Carol (David) Wieberdink, Cedar Grove; special cousins, Jack (special friend Mary) Davies; Becky Stokes and many other nieces, nephews and cousins. Roger was preceeded in death by his parents John and Kathryn Te Kulve; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Donald and Jean Harmelink. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2016. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:35 am, Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Thursday at the church with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating.
