Richard H. Derenne Richard Henry Derenne, 85 of Luxemburg passed away on Monday, December 12, 2016 after a brief illness. Richard was born on July 4, 1931 in Duvall, Wisconsin to Given and Mary (Massart) Derenne. At age 16, he was called upon to take over the family farm. On September 13, 1950 he married Arlene E. Everard in Rosiere; they were privileged to spend over 66 years together as husband and wife. Richard and Arlene farmed all their working life on the home farm in Duvall. In addition to farming, Richard worked at Armour Foods and Larsen Canning Company for many years. Richard retired from farming in 1990, but still managed to find many opportunities to drive tractor, play with the farm's dogs and help his son Dennis on the farm. In 1992, Richard and Arlene moved to Luxemburg. His enjoyments also included reading, gardening, traveling, playing cards with friends, but perhaps none more than hunting with his two sons and his grandchildren. At 83 years young, he was still helping his son Danny make maple syrup and firewood. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Arlene and their two sons, Dennis (Diane) Derenne, Duvall; Danny (Joyce) Derenne, Green Bay; four grandchildren, Matt (Lori), Jesse (Katie), Nathan and Marissa; five great-grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler, Brooke, Natalie and Shelby; two sisters in law, Elaine (Harold) Collins, Dyckesville; Lorraine (Erwin) LaLuzerne, Algoma; many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by one infant son; his parents; his mother in law and his father in law, Orbie and Jennie Everard; two sisters and two brothers in law, Eunice (Raymond) Parins, Laura (Elmer) Jandrin; special godchild, Leonard Jandrin; one sister in law, Irene Everard. Friends may call 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 15, 2016 at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG. Parish prayer service 6:30 pm on Thursday. Visitation will continue between 10:00 and 10:45 am on Friday, December 16, 2016 at St. Peter Church, Lincoln. Funeral 11:00 on Friday at the church with Rev.
