Sylvia M. Englebert, 66 of Dyckesville passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, January 03, 2017 at her home with her family present, following a four year battle with ovarian cancer. She was born on October 11, 1950 in the town of Lincoln to Martha L. (Jonet) Annoye and the late Harry J. Annoye. On April 17, 1971, Sylvia married David D. Englebert at St. Peter Church in Lincoln. She was employed with Algoma Hardwoods for over 46 years, retiring in 2015. Her enjoyments included spending time with her grandchildren (who were her pride and joy), shopping especially in Door County, her outdoor flower pots, spending time at the cabin with the family and boating with family and friends, going to lunch with her friends and dinners with her family. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dave and their two children, Eric John (Heidi) Englebert, Luxemburg; Kristin (Chuck) Heurkens, Dyckesville; eight grandchildren, Kayla, Gavin, Caden, Maddy, Mason, Carter, Grant and Jack; her mother, Martha Annoye, Casco; one brother, Sam Annoye, Algoma; three sisters, Sandra (Randy) LeFevre, Casco; Bonnie (Chuck) Balleine, Kewaunee; Cindy (Paul) Jerovetz, Pilsen; her mother in law, Bea Englebert, Dyckesville; brothers in law and sisters in law, Phillip (Carole) Englebert, Howards Grove; Anne (Joe) Thibaudeau, Carol (Jim) Werth, Lynn (Andy) Benson, all of New Franken; many nieces and nephews. Sylvia was preceded in death by her father, Harry Annoye; one brother Paul Annoye; one brother in law, Glen Gruetzmacher; her father in law, Dale N. Englebert. Friends may call at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville, 3:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, January 09, 2017. Closing parish wake service at 7:00 pm on Monday. Visitation will continue on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville between 9:00 and 10:45 am. Funeral 11:00 am, Tuesday at the church with Rev. John Van Deuren and Pastoral Leader Pat Ratajczak officiating. Burial in St. Louis Cemetery, Dyckesville. McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG is assisting the Englebert Family. www.mcmahonfh.com.
