Irene F. Jisa Irene F. Jisa, 94, formerly of Pilsen, passed away Thursday morning, January 12, 2017 at Emerald Shores Assisted Living, Kewaunee, WI. Irene was born in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee, WI to the late Joseph Sr. and Fanny (Blahnik) Koudelka on February 10, 1922. Irene married George J. Jisa on January 29, 1944 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Norman, WI. He preceded her in death on December 01, 2015. Irene was a big part of running the family farm in Pilsen, WI. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and baking bread. For many years she was a member of the Rosary Society of St. Joseph Parish. Irene and George were very active in the Wisconsin Czech Choraliers. Irene embroidered and sewed many of the costumes she and her friends wore for performances. Survivors include one son and two daughters in law, Dennis and Carol Lynn Jisa, Green Bay; Nancy Jisa, Pilsen; one son in law, Randall Gruetzmacher, Luxemburg; eight grandchildren, Kim (David) Bertrand, Tom (Jane) Jisa, Stacy (Randy) Paplham, Renee (Aaron) Krier, Jacqueline (Brian) Piontek, Susan (Steve) Zellner, Katie (Dan) Engebose, Jason Gruetzmacher; 17 great-grandchildren; three sisters in law, Lillian Challis, Pulaski; Emily Heemstra, Milwaukee and Leone Koudelka, Kewaunee; nieces and nephews. Irene was preceded in death by her husband, George; their son Robert J. Jisa; their daughter, Jilliene C. Gruetzmacher; one great-granddaughter, Nicole Bertrand; six brothers and two sisters, Arthur (Rose) Koudelka, Joseph (Adeline) Koudelka, Jr, Edward (Adeline) Koudelka, Victor (Stella) Koudelka, Frank Koudelka, Louie Koudelka, Anne (Rudy) Hardtke and Evelyn (Melvin) Swagel.
