Eleanor M. Martin, 83 of Luxemburg, died early Saturday morning, February 18, 2017 at a local hospital. She was born in New Franken on March 31, 1933 to the late Peter and Rose (Kaczmarowski) Beyer. On November 03, 1951 she married Earl E. Martin at St. Kilian Church, New Franken. Eleanor worked on the family farm with Earl until her retirement. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, especially to tend to the magnolias. Eleanor and Earl enjoyed going out fishing and she loved to cook and bake also. She was an active member at St. Peter Church, serving with the Altar Society. Survivors include her husband Earl, and their three sons, Earl Jr., Sun Prairie, David (Dorothy) Martin, Luxemburg, and James (Ann Kuehl) Martin, Luxemburg; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Bernadine Decker, Silver Lake, and Beatrice Salentine, Luxemburg; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, Peter Jr. (Barbara) Beyer, Green Bay, Gerald Beyer, Crooked Lake, Donald (Kathy) Beyer, Luxemburg, David (Linda) Beyer, Bay Settlement, Nancy Hansen; along with many nieces and nephews. Eleanor was preceded in death by an infant sister, Rose Beyer; brother Richard; sister-in-law, Arlene Vandervest; and two brothers-in-law, Edwin "Fuzzy" Decker, and Donald Salentine. Friends may call at St. Peter Church, Lincoln, E2591 County Road S. Casco, between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Tuesday, February 21, 2017. Funeral 11:00 am Tuesday at the church with Rev.
