Roger "Goat" L. Naniot Roger "Goat" L. Naniot, 54 of Luxemburg died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 6, 2017 of an apparent heart attack at a local hospital. He was born March 21, 1963 in Green Bay to the late Roger T. and Joyce J. (Gagnon) Naniot. On October 01, 2016 he married Penny A. Ropson-Yelland in Brown County. He served in the U.S. Army in the 1980's, being stationed in Germany. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved campfires, gardening, cooking, socializing. He had a kind and generous heart and was always there to help a friend in need. Survivors include his wife, Penny, two sons, Roger (Chantel) Naniot, Nick Naniot, all of Green Bay; three stepchildren, Albert Yelland, Green Bay; Robert (Michelle) Yelland, SD; Jacob (Jessica) Yelland, CA; two grandchildren, Roger G.D. and Chance; two sisters, Monica (Eric) Krog, Dyckesville; Faith Bates, ID; Guardian Aunt Patricia Stache and her children, Cherice, Mark, Teri, Dawn, Doreen, and Holly; his father in law and mother in law, Ronnie and Rose Ropson, Luxemburg; special niece and nephew, Amanda Mitchell and Joshuah VanCampenhout; one godson, Mace VanCampenhout; other relatives including, many nieces and nephews. Roger was preceded in death by his father, Roger Naniot; his mother and stepfather, Joyce (Richard) Thyrion; one infant sister, Laurie Naniot; Guardian Uncle Bernard Stache and his son, Bernard Jr; one brother in law, Sam Bates; one stepson, Josh Yelland.
