Eloise M. Gilson It is with greatest sadness and heavy hearts that our wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Eloise M. Gilson, 80, of Dyckesville passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 with her husband at her side. She was born on June 23, 1936 in Walhain to the late Albert and Mildred (Conard) Delcore. She was united in marriage with Ervin J. Gilson on July 14, 1954 at St. Amand Church, Walhain. Ervin and Eloise celebrated 62 wonderful years of marriage and wished to celebrate many years more. Ervin's helping hands over the last few years made Eloise look forward to each and every day. Eloise enjoyed sewing, playing cards, watching game shows and spending time with her family. Eloise held her faith close which showed through her actions. She spent many hours volunteering time to her life-long parish, St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. She was known for baking hundreds of Belgian pies with parish members and was recognized for her contribution of crocheted baby caps to St. Vincent Hospital. Survivors include her husband, Ervin and their seven children; Michael (LaVonne) Gilson, Dyckesville; Theresa (Steven) Jenquin, Green Bay; Nancy Gilson, Green Bay; Ron (Cindy) Gilson, Dyckesville; Lawrence (Christine) Gilson, Denmark; Darrell (Mary) Gilson, Green Bay; Lori (Brian) Harris, Green Bay; fourteen grandchildren; Mark, Matthew, Jonathan, Nathan and Katie; Jason and Amber; Jennifer, Jessica, Nicholas, Justine, and Jeremiah; Liam and Jack; twenty great-grandchildren; two sisters; Marlene Rank, Green Bay; Pat Dart, De Pere; one brother in law, Bob Derginer, Green Bay; one sister in law; Beatrice (Edward) Charles, Green Bay, three brothers in law; Leonard (Judy) Gilson, Champion; Stanley (Pam) Gilson, Denmark; Gerald Nelis, Green Bay. Eloise was preceded in death by; Marina and Lloyd Haen, Rita Derginer, Donald Rank, Harold and Audrey Gilson, Angela Nelis, Odile and Donald Lardinois, and her grandson Josh Gilson Friends may call at St. Louis Church, N8726 County Line Road, Luxemburg, 4:00 to 7:00 pm. Monday, June 19, 2017. Closing parish prayer service 7:00 pm on Monday. Visitation continues at St. Louis Church on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 between 9:00 and 10:45 am. Funeral 11:00 am. on Tuesday with Rev. John Van Deurne and Pat Ratajczak, Pastoral Leader, officiating. Burial in St. Louis Cemetery, Dyckesville.
