Carol J. Collins Carol Julia Collins, 88 of Luxemburg died Friday evening, July 07, 2017. She was born in Kewaunee County to the late Alex and Alice (DeChamps) Ropson on October 29, 1928. On April 07, 1951 she married Norman C. Collins at Robinsonville Presbyterian Church, Champion. Together they ran a dairy farm for many years. She enjoyed cooking and was a great cook. She was always working on a knitting or crocheting project. Carol was a loving mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and friend. She will be missed dearly. Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Norman and their children, daughter, Sherry (Dennis) DeChamps and their children, Eric (Christi) and Matt (Robin); daughter, Sandy DeBaker and her children, John (Sherry), Nick (Heidi), Sara (Jay) Shefchik and Lydia (Steve) Blaha; son, Ken (Wendy) and their son, Austin; 13 great-grandchildren and #14 arriving this month; one brother, Roland (Carol) Ropson; four sisters in law, Rosella Ropson; Evelyn Ropson; Marie Collins; Lorraine (Ray) Soquet; nieces and nephews. Carol was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Ropson, Gaylord Ropson; two sisters, Dorothy (Jerry) Bodart; Ella (Emerson)VandenHouten; two brothers in law and one sister in law, Tony Collins; Joyce (Ronald) Dekeyser.
