Georgiana "Babe" E. Maleski Georgiana 'Babe" Maleski, 93 of Luxemburg, died early Friday morning, August 11, 2017. She was born on July 04, 1924 in Green Bay to the late George and Anna (De Caster) Schauer. On November 30, 1946 she married Robert C. Maleski at St. Joseph Church, Green Bay. They were married for 60 years before Robert passed away on January 26, 2007. They were never blessed with any children but had many nieces and a nephew to fill the void. Together Bob and Babe lived in lower Michigan for a number of years before returning to the Luxemburg area. They built and operated the King Socker Motel in Luxemburg for many years before selling the business and pursuing other occupations. She was a life member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Honor Chapter #One. Babe was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, two sisters and one brother in law, Mercedes and Leonard Yanda Jr; Isabelle Schauer. Babe very much appreciated the kindness and care given to her at the assisted living facility, Fred and Mamie's Home/Helping Hearts in Luxemburg. She would like to let all of the residents she has met along the way that she is proud to call them all friends.
