Hamlin Boucher Hamlin Boucher, 85, Luxemburg, died peacefully at his home with his family at his side on Thursday, February 8, 2018. Born on August 7, 1932 to the late George and Marie (DeQuaine) Boucher. Hamlin married Magdalene Pinchart on October 10, 1951 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Lincoln. She preceded him in death on April 2, 1995. He later married Veronica Tlachac on May 16, 1998 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Sugarbush, WI. Hamlin retired from farming after the barn was struck by lightening in 1988. He began working at Automotive Supply delivering automotive parts to local businesses. He retired in January 2007. Hamlin was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters and St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Luxemburg, WI. Hamlin enjoyed farming, playing cards, hunting, bowling, watching the Molly B polka party, and the Milwaukee Brewers and Green Bay Packers. He also enjoyed going to his cottage at Twin Bridge during the summer months. But most important to him was spending time with his family. Family and friends celebrated Hamlin’s 85th birthday in his front yard accompanied by live music provided by the Sugarbush Boys Polka Band. Hamlin is survived by his wife, Veronica; two sons and daughters-in-law, Ken (Jean) Boucher, Casco; Dale (Jody) Boucher, Denmark; three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary (John) Voyles, Casco; Cheryl (Randy) Agamaite, Dyckesville; Lisa (Jim) Geyer, Suamico; 17 grandchildren and 3 step-grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-step-grandchild; one sister, Shirley Naze, Green Bay; three brothers-in-law and six sisters-in-law Mark (Mae) Pinchart, Casco; Myra Tlachac, Marge Tlachac, Rose (Roger) Beirl, Ken (Julaine) Tlachac, Al (Donna) Tlachac, all of Luxemburg; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Marie Boucher and his fathers- in-law and mothers-in-law, Peter and Emily Pinchart and Ed and Jennie Tlachac, a twin brother at birth; brother Roland Boucher; sisters-in-law, Lorraine Boucher and Beatrice Boucher; brothers-in-law: Willard Naze, Jim Tlachac, Ed Tlachac, Francis Tlachac; sisters-in-law Gen (John) Buhr; Veronica Ann Tlachac. Friends may call at St. Mary Catholic Church, 1412 Main Street, Luxemburg from 2-6 pm on Sunday, February 11, 2018. Closing parish prayer service at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am, Monday, February 12, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Luxemburg. Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at the Church, with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Entombment in The Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.
