Larry C. Wery Larry Charles Wery, 80, Casco, died early Thursday morning, March 8, 2018 at Oak Creek Assisted Living. He was born in Dyckesville, WI, on November 18, 1937 to the late John and Odile(Guelette) Wery. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves for six years. On September 21, 1963 he married Elaine L. Mathu at St. Hubert Church, Sugarbush. She preceded him in death on February 06, 2016. Larry retired in 1998 from the Selmer Company after 30 plus years of work and was a member of the Laborers Local 330 Union. Larry had many interests, which included collecting John Deere toys and tractors, making Belgian trippe, gardening and his 1957 Ford Fairlane car. He also enjoyed working on his hobby farm and riding his favorite John Deere gator. Survivors include his daughter, Renee Bohm, Luxemburg and his three grandchildren, which were the light of his life, Hunter, Isabella and Calvin Bohm; his siblings, Vilaria Romuald, Champion; Arlen and Judy Wery, Algoma; Ronald and Judy Wery, Green Bay; his sister in law, Mary Ann Wery, Green Bay; brothers in law and sisters in law, Myra Tlachac, Casco; Bernadine Mathu, Marianne Greatens, Genial and Ellen Mathu, Linda and David Jadin, Paula and Paul Sinkula, all of Luxemburg; Carl and Judy Mathu, Green Bay; his grandchildren’s father, Mark Bohm; many nieces and nephews. Larry was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John; one sister and brother in law, Verle and Donald Dax; his father in law and mother in law, Joseph and Beatrice Mathu; brothers in law, Ronald Romuald; James Tlachac; Gerald Mathu; Harley Greatens; one godson, Randy Romuald. Friends may call 2:30 to 4:30 pm, Sunday, March 11, 2018 at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Closing prayer service 4:30 pm. Visitation will continue 9:00 and 10:45 am, Monday, March 12, 2018 at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am Monday at the church with Rev. Milton Suess officiating. Burial at St. Mary Cemetery Luxemburg with presentation of the flag by the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262, Luxemburg.
