Andy L. R. Reed

Andy L. R. Reed, 80, of New Franken, Wisconsin, passed away from COVID pneumonia on February 13, 2022, with his loving wife and three children by his side. Andy grew up in Iowa and married the love of his life, Marvel Graf, in 1964. He graduated from Iowa State University with a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1965, and his work in the petrochemical industry moved him and his family all over the country with most of their time spent in Texas. Andy had a passion for building; he spent a lifetime designing, constructing and renovating houses for his family across the U.S. He was an amazing husband, father and grandfather, an avid outdoorsman, a gifted musician with perfect pitch, and a dedicated member of his church and church choir. Andy is survived by his wife, Marvel; three children, Stephanie (Chris) Konkoy, Michael (Melissa) Reed, and Susan (Jonathon) Russel; nine grandchildren; other relatives and friends. His Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 12:00pm at St. John Lutheran Church in Luxemburg, Wisconsin. Weather permitting, burial will take place in St. John Lutheran Cemetery, Luxemburg. In honor of Andy, a memorial fund has been established which will go to the American Center for Law & Justice.
