Anna Mae Dorner, 95, of Luxemburg, died early Tuesday morning, August 17, 2021, at Helping Hearts Assisted Living in Luxemburg. She was born on August 12, 1926, to the late John C. and Emma K. (Yanda) Worachek, in the Township of Manitowoc. She attended St. James Catholic School, Cooperstown, St. Mary Catholic School, Luxemburg, and Luxemburg High School. On June 02, 1945. Anna Mae married Roman A. Dorner at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Mishicot. Roman preceded her in death on January 10, 1997. Together they raised ten children on a farm, south of Luxemburg. Anna Mae loved to bake, quilt, play cards, but most of all she loved spending time with her family. She was a member of St. Mary Christian Mother Society. After Roman’s death she moved to the Village in Luxemburg, continuing to live independently until mid-April of 2021. Survivors include her seven children, Jean Cherovsky, Paul (Sandie) Dorner, Doris (Ron) Buyarski, Charles (Jo Ann) Dorner, Rita Wilquet, Peter (Connie) Dorner, Glen (Shelley) Dorner; two daughters in law, Lynn Dorner and Linda Dorner; grandchildren, Mike (Sarah) Cherovsky, Brian (Necole) Cherovsky, Amy (friend, Aceito) Sunke, Brenda (Chris) VandenHouten, Michelle (Mike) Wypiszenski, Paul (Sara) Dorner, John (Katie) Dorner, Craig (friend, Renee) Buyarski, Shannon Peterson, Jamie (Riki) Schulz, Christopher (Michelle) Buyarski, Cindy (Mike) Conard, Tammy Lemberger, Randy (Jenna) Dorner, Neil (Kelsey) Dorner, Marcia (friend, Jeremy) Dorner, Stacy (Jake) Schleis, Monica (Kyrian) Onyeukwu, Jason (Kim) Dorner, Gary (Ashlee) Dorner, Joe (friend, Denise) Wilquet, James Wilquet, Andrew (Kate) Dorner, Jack Dorner, Lexi Dorner, also 51 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Roman and two sons, Dennis Dorner, Kenneth Dorner; infant daughter Joan Marie; two sons in law, Paul Cherovsky, Donald Wilquet; one grandson in law, Jon Peterson; one sister, Mary Ann (George) Stodola; her parents, John and Emma Worachek; her father in law and mother in law, Joseph and Catherine Dorner; brothers in law and sisters in law, Verna (Anton) Zellner, Martha (Alois) Arendt, Margaret (Milton) Thibaudeau, Joe (Olive) Dorner, Ann (Leo) Seidl, Urban (Marie) Dorner, Clem (Gerry) Dorner, Norbert (Marian) Dorner. Friends may call at HOLY TRINITY CATHOLIC CHURCH, CASCO, between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Saturday, August 21, 2021. Funeral 11:00 am on Saturday at the church with Rev.
