Arlene M. Michiels, 84 of Denmark, died peacefully Saturday, December 5, 2020, at home with her family by her side. Born in Champion on October 9, 1936 to the late Rudolph E. and Doris M. In 1962 Arlene and Bill purchased the family farm where she truly appreciated and enjoyed raising her family and all of the work and fun related to life on the farm. Arlene was a person of tremendous faith, held a strong work ethic and was a supportive, active volunteer for her church. She enjoyed stitching quilts, playing cards, flower gardening and an afternoon nap, a quality that each of her children proudly carries on. Arlene enjoyed many years waitressing at Cliff and Ceils, and she truly relished her role as the Queen of the Head Table for many weddings. Her face lit up when it came to visits with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Attending their activities held a favorite spot in her heart. Nothing was more important to Arlene than faith and family.
