Betty A. Cravillion

August 1, 1932 — May 3, 2022

Betty A. Cravillion, 89, of Luxemburg died peacefully, Tuesday evening, May 3, 2022. She is now celebrating with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Betty was born on August 1, 1932, to the late Frank “Raymond” Jr. and Edna (Peik) Kubale in Manitowoc County. On August 16, 1958, she married the love of her life, Darrel J. Cravillion, at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg. She was a member of St. Mary Church, Luxemburg, and the Christian Mother Society of St. Mary. Her enjoyments included spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandsons. Betty loved her flowers, being outdoors immersed in God’s creation and her Monday and Wednesday Bible Study with her family. She always made everyone feel welcomed with her infectious smile, humor, and warmth. Betty is survived by her husband of 63 years, Darrel, and her seven children, Dan (Lisa) Cravillion, Cheryl (Paul) Melnarik, Janice Cravillion, Dave Cravillion, Lynn (Bill) Peronto, Patrick Cravillion, Dean Cravillion; eleven grandchildren, Jon, Katie, Andrew (Savannah), Abbie, Sam, Phil (Kali), Chelsea, Caleb, Shane, Nick, Logan (special friend, Jaid); two great grandsons, Maddox and Paxton; one sister, Sharon (Mick) Scanlan; one brother in law and two sisters in law, Tom (Sue) Cravillion, Bonnie Blaney; nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by one loving granddaughter, Karissa Peronto (10-21-2021); her parents; her father in law and mother in law, Henry and Helen Cravillion; brothers in law and sisters in law, George Blaney, Lyle (Lois) Cravillion, Bob (Darlene) Cravillion, Glen (Marge) Cravillion, Jim Cravillion, and Sister Ann Cravillion OSF. Friends may call between 9:15 and 11:15 am on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:30 am on Tuesday at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg.
