Bonita “Bonnie” M. Kugel, 75, Luxemburg, passed away suddenly early Thursday morning, June 6, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. She was born on May 31, 1949, to the late Frank J. and Sylvia M. (Nemetz) Konop. She was a 1967 graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School. On August 8, 1973, Bonnie and James “Jim” J. Kugel were married in Illinois. Bonnie attended the College of Cosmetology and was employed at Bay Beauty Salon in Dyckesville. Later was employed as a secretary at ICS Cutting in Casco and finally Nichol Machine and Laser Net, until her retirement. She loved spending time in her flower garden, reading, cooking and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Jim, one sister Mary (Terry) Ross, sisters in law and brothers in law Janice Stodola, Diane Nackers, Michael Kugel, Robert Kugel, many nieces and nephews along with great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Bonnie was preceded in death by her son Brian Kugel, one brother, Martin (Diane) Konop, her parents Frank and Sylvia Konop, brothers in law Wayne Stodola and Pete Nackers, sister in law Mary Kugel, her mother in law and father in law, Ann and Alvin Kugel. Friends may call between 9:00 and 10:45am on Friday, June 14, 2024, at St. Thomas The Apostle Church in Sugarbush. Funeral 11:00 am with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pilsen.
