Danny W. Wright, 69, of Dyckesville, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Saturday, September 08, 2018. He was born in Arkansas on May 04, 1949 to the late Leo A. and Jane L. (Spradlin) Wright. On August 09, 1991 he married Lucille L. Charney in Manitowoc. Danny went to high school in Kitsap, Washington. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps and served his country during the Viet Nam War. He then became a prison guard and a police officer in South Carolina. Danny retired as a Senior Lead Radiation Protection Technician for Bartlett Nuclear Inc. Presently he was employed with Ryan De Broux. He was a member of the American Legion Post 262 in Luxemburg. Survivors include his wife, Lucille, one son, Robert (Gidget) Wright, WA; one daughter, Dana Wright, WA; two stepchildren, Lynette Schultz, Manitowoc; Lucinda Karl, Two Rivers; grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren and step great grandchildren further survive, one brother, Leo (Marvel) Wright, WA; sisters in law and brothers in law, Pat Wright, WA; Anita Christoph, Luxemburg; Joseph (Dorothy) Charney, Maribel; Eugene (Carol) Charney, OH; special friends, Dr. Dan Farah, Luxemburg; Steve Legois, Dyckesville; Brian Maes, Dyckesville; nieces and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by, two brothers, Manford Wright; Darrell Wright; one step son, Chris Matte; one brother in law, Tony Christoph. Friends may call at McMAHON FUNERAL HOME, LUXEMBURG on Monday, September 17, 2018 between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. Rosary service at 1:00 pm with Deacon Bob Miller, followed by complete military rites with the American Legion Post 262 in Luxemburg. www.mcmahonfh.com
