David J. Bader, 52, Luxemburg, was called to heaven on Monday, August 29, 2022, surrounded by his family, following a long battle with cancer. He was born November 3, 1969, in Algoma to Donald J. and the late Diane M. (Renard) Bader. On September 14, 1991, Dave married the love of his life, Lisa Wessel. After graduation, Dave worked at Hoida Lumber as a delivery driver. He then went to work at PBI in Sturgeon Bay. In 1992 he started his 30 yr. career with Wolter Inc. FKA Wisconsin Lift Truck. Dave earned many awards including best attendance, outstanding employee performance and Employee of the year. He was well respected for his knowledge and work ethic. He has gained many lifelong friends at Wolter. His hobbies include league pool and hunting with his son and brothers. He loved Packer season and getting together to watch the game. Dave loved his four-legged companion, CoCo, taking her for walks and giving her rides on the golf cart. He will be greatly missed by Lisa; daughter Lindsey (special friend, Brent Weidner); son Devon; Father, Donald (Mary Ann) Bader; brothers, Darrin Bader (special friend, Jenn), Dan Bader (special friend Michelle), sister, Denise Bader; stepsisters, Cathy Kubiak, Deb (Jeff) Zich, Julie (Jim) Grondin, Susan (Bob) Pigg, Jill (Doug) Hammond, Ann (Corey) Hendricks and stepbrother Jeff Parins; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Diane Bader, his brother Dennis Bader; paternal and maternal grandparents. Visitation will be at St. John Lutheran Church, Luxemburg, 700 Heritage Road, on Friday, September 2, 2022, from 4pm-7pm with a closing prayer service at 7pm with Rev. Craig VanPay. Visitation will continue at St. John Lutheran Church on Saturday, September 3, 2022, from 9-10:45 pm. Funeral service will be at 11:00 am with Rev. Carl Brewer officiating. Burial will be at St. Francis DePaul Cemetery in Duvall with his family.
