David L. Jadin, 72, of Luxemburg, passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on September 7, 2022, following a one year battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on August 24, 1950, in the City of Kewaunee to the late Julius J. and Patricia L. (Rank) Jadin. Dave graduated from Kewaunee High School in 1968. He then enjoyed a lifetime of work in the construction industry. He spent 36 years at The Selmer Company, followed by time at Bayland Buildings Inc. and Eaton Transport. As a jack-of-all trades he spent much of his free time fixing things and completing projects for those closest to him. Dave was a man of strong faith and a devout catholic throughout this life. On February 2, 1979, he married Linda J. Mathu at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Kewaunee. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Linda, and his three children, Christopher (Danielle) Jadin, Amanda Jadin, Mitchell (Kristen) Jadin; two grandchildren, Cody and Chloe; his siblings, Jeff (Margaret) Jadin, New York; Mark (Mary Jo) Jadin, Green Bay; LuAnn (Bob) Murphy, Kewaunee; Paul (Jane) Jadin, Green Bay; Katye (Tom) Stangel, Kewaunee; his sisters in law and brothers in law, Barb Jadin, Casco; Myra Tlachac, Luxemburg; Bernadine Mathu, Luxemburg; Carl (Judy) Mathu, Green Bay, Genial (Ellen) Mathu, Luxemburg; Paul Sinkula, Luxemburg; and many nieces and nephews. Dave was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Mick and Chuck; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Beatrice Mathu; four brothers in-law and three sisters in law, Gerald Mathu, Marianne and Harley Greatens, Elaine and Larry Wery, Paula Sinkula and Jim Tlachac. Friends may call 3:00 to 6:30 pm on Monday, September 12, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Closing parish prayer service 6:30 pm on Monday with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue between 9:15 and 10:45 am on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Funeral 11:00 am at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating and Rev. Mark Mleziva concelebrating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg.
