Donald J. Bader, 73, of Brussels, was called to Heaven on Thursday, December 29, 2022, following a battle with cancer. He was born on March 4, 1949, to the late Elvin and Arabella (Vandermeuse) Bader. Don worked numerous jobs including PBI for twenty years. Don, later began his own excavating business. His hobbies included restoring old vehicles and collecting small model tractors. He enjoyed spending time with friends and family camping, going to Thresherees, tractor pulls and trips to Porterfield. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Bader; children, Darrin Bader (special friend, Jenn), Dan Bader (special friend, Michelle), Denise Bader; stepchildren, Cathy Kubiak, Deb (Jeff) Zich, Jeff Parins, Julie (Jim) Grondin, Jill (Doug) Hammond, Susan (Bob) Prigg, Ann (Cory) Hendricks; grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Peter (Sharon) Bader, Dale (Karen) Bader, numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Diane (Renard) Bader; his sons, David Bader and Dennis Bader; brothers, Larry Bader, Mark Bader; sister, Bonnie Derenne. Friends may call 3:00 to 6:30 pm, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at St. Francis-St. Mary Church, Brussels. Closing parish prayer service 6:30 pm. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, at St. Francis-St. Mary Church in Brussels. Funeral 11:00 am on Wednesday, at the church, with Rev.
