Donald J. "Donnie" Pribek

Donald J. "Donnie" Pribek, age 86, of Luxemburg, passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. He was born on February 3, 1939, in Kewaunee County to the late Joseph F. II and Frances (Lischka) Pribek. He was a 1958 graduate of Kewaunee High School. He served in the Army National Guard. He was employed at Krohn Dairy as a cheesemaker and milk hauler for 39 years.

In 1997, Donald established Pribek Trucking. It continues today with his sons, Dale and David Pribek, and grandsons, Justin and Logan Kinjerski. Donald was a milk hauler until his illness required him to retire. He truly enjoyed talking with the farmers on his milk route. Donald also served on several boards at St. Paul Lutheran Church over the years.

On October 6, 1962, he married Dorothy H. Dahlke at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Montpelier. Their union was blessed with four children; Dale, DeeAnn, Jeffrey, and David. He enjoyed going for rides on his ATV with his canine companion, Buddy, and visiting with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy; his children, Dale and Debbie Pribek, DeeAnn and Dennis Kinjerski, Jeffrey and Lynn Pribek, all of Kewaunee; and David Pribek, Luxemburg; his grandchildren, Brandon L. and Jamie Kinjerski, Justin and Jill Kinjerski, Logan Kinjerski, Ashlyn Pribek (Garrit Aissen), and Brady and Sydney Pribek; four great-grandchildren, Allison and Josephine Kinjerski, Eleanor Kinjerski, and Aiden Kinjerski; one brother and sister-in-law, Eugene and Delores Pribek; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Mildred and Myron Drab, Jean Zeitler; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one infant sister, Beatrice; brothers and sisters-in-law Wencil and Bernice Pribek, Joseph III and Joyce Pribek, Leonard and Anna Mae Pribek; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hugo and Selma (Reckelberg) Dahlke; three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Marvin H. and Garnet Dahlke, Orville Kratz, and Martin Zeitler.

Friends may call at St. Paul Lutheran Church, N4118 CTH AB, Luxemburg, on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 9:00 am - 11:45 am. Funeral service to follow at 12:00 (Noon) with Rev. Dr. Daniel Olson officiating. Burial will be in the St. Paul Cemetery, Montpelier.
