Donald J. Selner, 76, Luxemburg, passed away unexpectedly on March 5, 2025, at his residence. He was born in Algoma on October 10, 1948, to the late Joseph and Marion (Vandervest) Selner.
Don worked for the Green Bay Post Office as a mail carrier. He was a very sociable person who had a willingness to help with anything. He was talented at woodworking and could make just about everything. Don loved spending time outdoors, including farming - working the fields, making wood, and the tradition of hunting with the kids and grandkids, whom he was very proud of.
Don is survived by his wife Mary; his children, Sherry (James) Johnson, John (Significant Other, Vicki) Selner, Michael (Lisa) Selner, Mandy (Shawn) Robinson, and Andy (Nicole) Selner; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother Dennis (JoAnn) Selner; sister Diane Zimmer; many nieces and nephews; and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Stahl side of the family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother Emily; brother-in-law, Leon Zimmer; a stepbrother; two stepsisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law from the Stahl side of the family.
