Dorothy H. Daoust, 94, New Franken, died Saturday, February 22, 2025, surrounded by family. She was born in Green Bay on December 27, 1930, to the late Bernard and Mary (Rentmeester) Sobiek. On September 6, 1948, she married Howard Daoust at St. John the Baptist Church, Duck Creek.
Her enjoyments included cooking, needle point, boating, picnics and spending quality time with her family.
Survivors include three grandchildren, Lori Tauschek (special friend Mark), Lisa (Dan) Johnson, Jodi (Jeromy) Reinhard-Deprey, eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; one sister Jenny Everard; one sister-in-law Nancy Sobieck, many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Howard; one daughter and one son-in law Barbara and Richard Tauschek; one grandson-in-law Mark Reinhard; two brothers, Robert Sobieck and Harold (Elaine) Sobiek; four brothers-in-law Richard Everard, Clarence (Marie) Daoust, Joe (Geneva) Daoust, Leo (Babe) Daoust; four sisters-in-law Josephine (Anthony) Will, Rita Daoust, Rose (Lambert) Vanden Langenberg, Claire (John) Van Schyndel.
Friends may call between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Kilian Church, New Franken. Funeral 11:00 am Friday, at the church, with Rev. Msgr. James Dillenburg officiating. Entombment in Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
