Elaine Lillian Dorner, 92, Luxemburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday evening, February 27, 2020. The daughter of the late Wenzil and Lillian (Kulhanek) Rebitz, was born in Milwaukee, Wi on November 13, 1927. She graduated from Luxemburg High School, Class of 1946. On May 21, 1947 she married Sebastian Donald Dorner at St. Joseph Church, Pilsen. He preceded her in death on September 5, 1987. Elaine was very proud of her 52 years at The Rendezvous where she was known as the “Pie Lady” for her delicious homemade pies. She enjoyed playing cards, gardening, cooking, baking and attending Mass with her family. She always had a great sense of humor and could always make you smile. Survivors include her children, John Dorner, Daniel (Mary) Dorner, Judy Lipsky, Donald (Lois) Dorner; 12 grandchildren, Craig (Amy) Dorner, Heather (John) Trevarthen, Cory (Maria) Dorner, Todd (Michelle) Dorner, Chad (Tina) Dorner, Tina (Tim) Aschenbrenner, Darcy Lipsky, Dustin (Haven) Lipsky, Casey (Kristin) Lipsky, Tim Dorner, Tanya (Willie) DeGrave, Kate (Dillan) Thomas; 24 great-grandchildren, Ashlynn, Cailey, Kiera Dorner, Hailey, Jessica, Samantha Trevarthen, Jordyn (Brent) Dahlke, Danny Dorner, Ty, Alexis, Joslyn Dorner, Alesha Dorner and Emily, Micah Thern, Eva Aschenbrenner, Payton Lipsky, Braelyn, Sebastian, Vivian Lipsky, Blake, Wyatt, Courtney DeGrave, Natalie, Ian Thomas; one great-great-granddaughter, Alayna Dahlke; one great-great-grandson, Grayson Dahlke; one sister in law, Anna Marie Finnel. Elaine was preceded in death by her husband; one son in law, Larry Lipsky; one daughter in law, Deborah Dorner; two great-grandchildren, Amanda Dorner, Samuel Trevarthen; her parents; one brother, Clarence (Dorothy) Rebitz; two sisters, Marcy (Paul) Heine, Patsy (Leroy) Simonar; her father in law and her mother in law, George and Barbara Dorner; brothers in law and sisters in law, Leo (Louise) Dorner, Phillip (Ester) Dorner, George (Julia) Dorner, Raymond Dorner, Laura (Tom) Kirby, Mary (George) Perkins, Agnes (Pete) Rank, Carolyn (Henry) Burkhart, Regina Dorner and Norbert Finnel.
