Frances Destiche, 81, Luxemburg, entered eternal life on December 17, 2018, with her family by her side. She was born August 22, 1937, in the Town of Red River, to the late Edward and Libbie (Holub) Delebreau. She married Urban Destiche at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Lincoln on September 27, 1958, celebrating 60 years of marriage this year. Frances and Urban ran a dairy farm in Champion while raising their eight children. Frances enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to back yard bon fires and watching the sunset from the front porch. She loved to garden and took pride in her vegetable harvest and beautiful flowers. Frances was also a very faith-filled woman and prayed countless decades of the rosary. Frances is survived by her husband, Urban Destiche; children, Marcia (Brian) Dalebroux, Donna Destiche, Barbara (Patrick) Zellner, Gloria (Mark) Heim, Dale (Kim) Destiche, Ann (Scott) Fameree, Joan (Jason) Haen, Mary (Jason) Vandermause; grandchildren, Greg Dalebroux, Lee (Katie) Dalebroux, Steve Dalebroux (friend Jessica Koenig), Bradley (Jenny) Zellner, Ryan Zellner (friend Maggie Peters), Matthew Zellner (friend Chelsea Conard), Aaron (Kim) Heim, Brian (Cortney) Heim, Lauren Destiche, Luke Destiche, Amanda Fameree, Ashley Fameree, Nicole Haen, Natalie Haen, Megan Vandermause, Anna Vandermause, Evan Vandermause; great-grandchildren, Josie, Brett and Blake Zellner, Levi Heim, Alex Dalebroux; sisters, Dorothy (Donald) Cochart, Jeanne (James) Junion; brother-in-law, Harvey LeFevre. Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Libbie Delebreau; stepfather, Ernest Fameree; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alvin and Frieda Destiche; sister, Mae LeFevre; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Audrey) Delebreau, infant brother, Lee Delebreau. Visitation will continue on Friday, December 21, between 9:30 and 10:45 am at St. Joseph Church in Champion. Funeral 11:00 am on Friday at the church with Rev. Carlo Villaluz officiating.
