Gail I. Jonet, 86, of Luxemburg, passed away early Wednesday September 21, 2022. She was born August 15, 1936, in Kewaunee to Alvin W. and Mildred D. (Kimpel) Kuehl. She married James J. Jonet on May 1, 1976, in Kewaunee. Gail was a busy wife and great mother. She worked at Kewaunee Nuclear Plant for ten years and along with James, were Kewaunee County Deputies. Gail and James loved to travel, going to Antique auctions and Nascar races. She was also a great artist creating several paintings for her family. Gail is survived by her husband James, four children, Terry Spude, Jay (Rhonda) Spude, Dawn (fiancé Elvis) Spude, Jodi (Fred) Roubal. Her husband James children, Jim (Reenie) Jonet Jr., Tammy Hoffmann, and Scott Jonet; ten grandchildren, Miranda (Lee) Truttmann, Travis (Amy) Spude, Elisha (Darren) Fager, Trever (Karli) Spude, Dawson Smith, Lukas Daus, Chase Daus, Brandon (Shanda) Nowak, Cody (Bobbie Jo) Nowak, Abigail (Cory) Delarwelle; twelve great grandchildren, Teegan, Payson, Aaliyah, Nolan, Miles, Bennett, Braxtin, Elliot, Chance (fiancé Jen), Chloe, Katie, and Bennett; one brother, Roger (Jean) Kuehl; two brothers in law and two sisters in law, Tom Jonet, Jean (Brent) Alberts, Terrie Flessert; nieces and nephews. Gail was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Ruth (Arnold) Schroeder; infant brother David Kuehl; her father in law and mother in law, Pete and Lucy Jonet; two sisters in-law, Suzanne Jonet, Joan Jonet- Diedrich; a niece, nephew and great niece.
