Germaine C. Wink, 97, Luxemburg, passed away peacefully on Sunday November 20, 2022, surrounded by her family. She was born in Kaukauna on October 1, 1925, to the late John F. and Wilhelmina “Minnie” (Weyenberg) Heindel. On December 21, 1943, Germaine married Lloyd W. Wink in Forest Junction. He preceded her in death November 13, 2010. Survivors include her six children, Donna (Bernard) Sustman, John “Jack” (Mary) Wink, Sharron (Doug) Doeren, Patricia “Pat” (Robert) Wertel, Lynn (Tom) Schilder, Teri Wink; twelve grandchildren, Mark (Deb) Sustman, Dan Sustman, Brian (Lisa) Wink, Kelly (Mark) McDonnell, Denise (Dylan) Tomlinson, Jason Doeren, Jen (Greg) Gruetzmacher, Amy (Brandt) Treichel, Jill (Matt) Loritz, Lindsay Schilder, Dylan (Samira) Phelan, Casey Phelan; ten great grandchildren; two brothers, David Heindel, Tom Heindel; one sister in law, Marcella deCoster; one brother in law, Dean (Gertie) Wink; nieces and nephews. Germaine was preceded in death by, her husband Lloyd; one infant son; two twin grandsons, Alexander and Troy Phelan; one great grandson, Jacob Loritz; her parents, John and Minnie Heindel; one sister, Virginia Heindel; one brother, LeRoy Heindel; two sisters in law, Evelyn Heindel, Joanne Heindel; brothers in law and sisters in law, Wilmer (Avis) Wink, LaVerne (Mike) Ott, Gertie (Harvey) Just, Bernice (Harold) Krueger, Dorothy (Lloyd) Wolf, Jerome (Lois) Wink, William “Bud” deCoster.
