Germaine F. Zellner, 92, Walhain, died early Thursday morning, May 23, 2019 at Anna’s House in New Franken. She was born in Thiry Daems on February 28, 1927 to the late John and Alvina (Vanness) Frisque. On June 7, 1944, Germaine married Clarence L. Zellner at St. Amand Church, Walhain. They shared 48 years of marriage when he preceded her in death on February 24, 1993. Together they farmed and retired in the Walhain area. Her enjoyments included traveling, crocheting and playing cards.Survivors include her children, Dale; Wayne (Terry); Daniel (Lynn); Thomas (Chris); Kevin (Nancy); Sharon (Dave Vandenhouten); 12 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one sister, Iris Pinchart; sisters in law and brothers in law, Verna Mae Frisque; Richard Zellner; Leonard (Dolores) Zellner; Cy (Donna) Zellner; Russell (Dorothy) Zellner; many nieces and nephews.Germaine was preceded in death by her husband, one son, Dennis; her parents, her mother in law and father in law, Anna and Charles Zellner; three brothers and one sister, Carrel (Renie) Frisque; Elmer Frisque; Beatrice (Linus) Hermans; Marvin (Jean) Frisque; brothers in law and sisters in law, Elmer (Dora) Zellner; Elsie (August) Haen; Albertina (Ray) Paye; Alvin (Eleanor) Zellner; Loretta (Bernard) LeRoy; Rosella Zellner; Betty (Ray) Vandenplas.
