Gordon E. Mueller

Gordon E. Mueller, 79, Kewaunee, died Sunday, May 12, 2024, at a local hospital. He was born on February 22, 1945, in Kewaunee County to the late Earl W. and Ruth E. (Roggenbau) Mueller. On August 7, 1965, Gordon married his Sweetheart, Ruth G. Remiker, at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Montpelier. He was employed with Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry until his retirement. His enjoyments included hunting, fishing, cutting his lawn, riding his motorcycle, and going to the cabin in Popple River. Gordon’s family was his pride and joy and most important in his life. His smart aleck comments, quick wit and pronunciations, will never be forgotten! Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Ruth and their two daughters, Brenda Bosdeck, Kewaunee; Tracy (Todd) Ledvina, Luxemburg; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Bosdeck, Luxemburg; Casey (Kyle) Kudick, Kewaunee; Jordan Ledvina, Wausau; Jared Ledvina, Kewaunee; Alaina Ledvina, Luxemburg; Ashley (Dave) Paplham, Kewaunee; Tanner (Nicole) Ledvina, Luxemburg; seven great grandchildren, Kenlee and Kash Kudick, Jude, Eloise, Graham and Oliver Paplham, Parker Ledvina; two brothers, Wayne (Mary Ann) Mueller, Mishicot; Gary (Linda) Schlies, Kewaunee; one sister, Julie (Duane) Tahlier, Algoma; nieces, nephews, several other relatives and friends. Gordon was preceded in death by two sons in law, Boz Bosdeck, Anthony Jerabek; his parents and stepfather Louis Schlies; brothers, Glen Mueller, Robert Schlies; and his little dog Poopie.
