Henry “Hank” D. Deprey, 70, passed away Saturday morning, June 11, 2022, at a local hospital after a short illness with family by his side. Born on June 1, 1952, he was the son of the late Anthony Sr. and Lorraine (Moreau) Deprey. He graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School with the class of 1970. He married Julie K. Bredael on May 5th, 1973, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. They just celebrated 49 years together. Hank owned and operated Luxemburg Bowl aka: “Hank’s Planks” for 40 plus years, with his wife Julie at his side. He was a former part-time employee with Salmon’s Meats and had volunteered his time with the Luxemburg Fire Department in the past. Hank enjoyed spending time with family & friends at the camper. His true enjoyments were spending time with his wife, children & grandchildren. He will be well known for “taking a ride”, telling his stories and throwing his hat on the floor. Hank is survived by his wife Julie; three daughters, Tina (Andy) Haegele and their children Austin and Callie; Tammy (Steve) Teumer and their son, Trevor; Amy (David) Deprey. Hank is further survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Heraly, Rosie (Jeff) LaFave, Teri Deprey, Lisa Dewitt; one sister in law, Nancy Deprey; his godson, Jeromy Deprey. Hank is also survived by his mother in law, Eileen Bredael and Julie’s sisters, brother and their families, Nancy (David) Buhr, Fred (Roxie) Bredael, Lori (Glenn) Salmon, Lynn (John) Michiels, Mikki (Bob) Jandrain; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Hank was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony Sr. and Lorraine (Moreau) Deprey; his father in law, Lloyd “Porky” Bredael; brothers, Randy “Zeke” Deprey, Anthony “JR” Deprey; brothers in Law, Carl Heraly, Perry DeWitt; his goddaughter, Stephanie “Tootsie” Woelfel and several other loved ones. Friends may call between 3:00 and 7:00 pm on Friday, June 17, 2022, at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Closing Vigil Service at 7:00 pm with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg.
