Jacqueline A Van Laanen

Jacqueline “Jackie” A. Van Laanen, 89, New Franken, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, January 11, 2021, due to complications following a stroke. She was born in Sugarbush on September 4, 1931 to the late William “Bill” J. and Mary M. (Kollross) Tilot. On October 9, 1954 she married Cyril “Cy” M. Van Laanen at St. Hubert Church, Sugarbush. He preceded her in death January 16, 2012. Jackie’s greatest joy was to spend time with her children and grandchildren, along with attending their sporting events, family gatherings and sharing her strong faith! Survivors include her five children, Steven (Mary Beth) Van Laanen, Tom (Louann) Van Laanen, Mary (John) Willemon, Kathy (Gary) Lemens, Jean (Gene) Lannoye; 18 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gerald Tilot, Kenny (Shirley) Tilot, Rita Tilot; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Arlene Phillips, Sally (Alan) Borley; one sister-in- law, Harriet Van Laanen. Jackie was preceded in death by one great-great grandchild, Emberlee; one brother, Maurice Tilot; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law, Millie Tilot, Ray Phillips, Milton Greatens, Ambrose “Sonny” Van Laanen; nieces and nephews. Friends may call between 9:00 am and 11:45 am on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement. A Private Family funeral will be held at Noon on Monday with Abbot Gary Neville, O.Praem officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum, Green Bay.
