James J. Lampereur, 86, Dyckesville, died early Wednesday morning, February 20. 2019. He was born in Namur, Wisconsin on July 5, 1932 to the late Harry and Grace (Chaudoir) Lampereur. Jim attended St. Norbert High School and graduated from Brussels High School in 1949. He attended St. Norbert College, and graduated from UW Madison School of Pharmacy in 1954. On August 3, 1955, he married Joyce G. Allard at St. Louis Church in Dyckesville. After graduation, he worked at Kellner’s Pharmacy in Sturgeon Bay, Thomas Drug Store in Green Bay, and Brown County Hospital. He retired from Bellin Hospital in 1995 after over 25 years, most of them as Director of Pharmacy. He was an active member of St. Louis Parish, and served in leadership roles in the Peninsula Belgian American Club, Dyckesville Lions Club, Luxemburg Knights of Columbus, Wisconsin Society of Hospital Pharmacists, American Pharmaceutical Association, and Brown County Pharmacists Society. He was a man who gave back to his community. Family and faith were his priorities. He was always available to lend a helping hand and was generous with his time and talent. Photography was one of his passions. He taught photography to 4H youth and took many pictures for his parish, friends, and relatives, which will live on in their memories. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the cabin up north, cutting firewood, hunting, fishing, making maple syrup, and traveling to Europe to visit Belgian friends and relatives. Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Joyce, and their children, Nancy (Jim) Christoff, Alice Lampereur, Mary Lampereur (Ralph Czech), Andy (Chris) Lampereur, and John (Caroline) Lampereur; 8 grandchildren, Sarah (Dan) Peterson, Laura (Ross) Neher, Matthew Christoff, Ben, Beth, Anna, Joseph and Luke Lampereur; 2 great grandchildren, Ava and Adalyn Peterson; and his siblings, Betty (Roy) DeBaker, Mark (Ann) Lampereur, and Phil (Linda) Lampereur. Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Funeral 11:00 am on Saturday at the church with Rev.
