Jean M. Junio, 76, Luxemburg, passed away, Thursday morning, March 18, 2021, with family at her side. She was born in Sturgeon Bay on February 28, 1945, to the late Chauncey and Helen (Manney) Shaw. On September 4, 1965, she married Thomas E. Junio at St. Mary Church in Algoma. She was a very devoted woman, wife, mother and grandmother, always putting her family first, Jean was extremely hard working and always willing to help anyone in need. Her enjoyments included gardening, antiquing and rummage sales. Jean, with her creativity was resourceful, especially at holiday time. A woman of strong faith always placing Jesus at the head of her household. She faced many challenges in her life but with His help she lived each day to be her best! Survivors include her loving husband of 55 years, Tom, and their four children, Kathy (Lee) Johnson, Chan “Chud” (Darcie) Junio, all of Luxemburg; Matt (Rachelle) Junio, Casco; Molly (Josh) LaTour, Algoma; eight grandchildren, Julie (Craig) Rozek, Chance Junio, Mackie (friend, Jack) Junio, Cody Junio, Carson Junio, Everett, Everson and Everly LaTour; two great-grandchildren, Eli and Brayden; two brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law, Francis (Diane) Junio, Tony Hamernik, all of Green Bay; nieces and nephews. Jean was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Jordyn L. Burkart; brothers in law and sisters in law, Lloyd (Pearl) Junio, Raymond (Shirley) Junio, Rosemary (Clifford) Delsart, Kenneth (Jean) Junio, Leroy Junio, Shirley (Melvin) Moreau, Audrey Hamernik, Sharlene (Gary) Kostichka; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Appolonia (Metzler) Junio. Friends may call 3:00 to 6:30 pm, Friday, March 26, 2021 at St. Mary Church, Luxemburg. Closing parish prayer service 6:30 pm on Friday with Deacon Bob Miller. Visitation will continue between 9:30 and 10:45 am on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at St. Mary Church. Funeral 11:00 am on Saturday at the church with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating.
