Jennifer “Jen” L. Post, 42, of Stoughton, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Thursday, May, 12, 2022, at her home. She was born in Green Bay on November 25, 1979, to Roger and Carol (Hoagland) Post. Jen was employed with the University of Wisconsin Madison Medicine and Public Health as a Research Specialist. She was involved in many research studies involving organ transplants in monkeys and vaccine effectiveness, including the Covid-19 vaccine. Her enjoyments in life were hanging out with her pets, cooking and baking and spending time with friends playing Trivia. Her Christmas lasagna will be greatly missed. She was very strong willed, intelligent and loved to debate any topic. Survivors include her parents, Roger and Carol Post; one brother, Paul (Kelley); two sisters, Julie Uslabar, Jean (Randy) Pieschek; nephews, Brendon Post (special friend Kelsey), Jack Uslabar, Jacob and Mason Pieschek; nieces, Alyssa (her godchild) and Sydney Pieschek, Rylie Post; aunts and uncles, Ruth Ziegelbauer, Helen Schmechel, Clarence Hoagland, Gerald Hoagland (friend Barb), Larry (Mary) Hoagland, Marvin (Diana) Hoagland; Jeanette Zeitler, Arlene Gruetzmacher, Shirley (Sheldon) Prodell, Carol (James) Nemecek, Rita Post, Donna Post; and her canine child, Daphne and feline children, Butter, Waffle and Benny. Jen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Fred and Eleanora Post, and Robert and Elizabeth Hoagland; uncles, Norman Post, Robert Post (godfather), Roy Post, Harold Zeitler, Wayne Gruetzmacher, Robert Hoagland, James Hoagland; aunts, Bernice (Wally) Machut, Ellen Post, Betty Lou Hoagland, Mary Hoagland; and canine child, Fred.
