Jerome J. Skorzewski, 86, Luxemburg, died peacefully, Saturday evening, February 19, 2022, following a fierce battle with cancer. He was a Wisconsin native and joined the United States Air Force. After his service he returned to Wisconsin, married, divorced, left the state gradually working his way to the Pacific Northwest. While working for a charter fishing company he earned his Coast Guard Captain’s license and continued working until the company moved to Arkansas. During that time period he established a trout and salmon fishing club. They built a net pen to raise and release salmon in Puget Sound. Later he remarried, worked as a tile setter, and eventually started his own tile setting business until he retired. Following retirement, he and his wife moved back to Wisconsin, where they currently reside. He is survived by his wife Donna, his son Ross Skorzewski; two grandchildren, Kean, and Mia Skorzewski. Friends may call between 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 4, 2022, at St. Louis Church, Dyckesville. Funeral 11:30 a.m. on Friday at the church.
