Jon M Mathu

Jon M Mathu, DePere, died peacefully at Aurora BayCare Medical Center on Friday morning, January 4, 2019 in Green Bay, WI at the age of 51.  Jon was born on December 9, 1967 in Luxemburg to Gerald and Bernadine (Stahl) Mathu.  He graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1986.  After high school Jon enlisted in the Air Force and spent four years serving his country.  Jon worked for various construction companies, his last employer was Bayland Buildings Inc.  Bayland was like a second family to him and he loved working with everyone there.   Jon is survived by his two daughters, Caitlan and Connor Mathu, his grandson Marcus, his mother Bernadine and his three siblings & spouses, Tim and Holly Mathu, Jeff and Ann Mathu and Terri (Mathu) Christensen, nephews, Tom & Laura, Logan & AJ, nieces, Marissa, Maddy & Gabby and many aunts, uncles and cousins, also the mother of his children, Amy (Zellner) Mathu.   He is preceded in death by his father Gerald, brother Tom and two infant brothers, grandparents, Joseph & Beatrice Mathu and Michael and Mayme Stahl and other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.   Friends may call 3:00 to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at St. Mary Church, 1412 Main Street, Luxemburg.  Visitation will continue between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Thursday at the church. Funeral 11:00 am Thursday with Rev.
