Karissa E. Peronto, 27, Ashwaubenon, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, due to an unexpected tragic event. Karissa was born on November 11, 1993, in Green Bay to Bill and Lynn (Cravillion) Peronto. She graduated from Luxemburg-Casco high school in 2012 and went on to graduate from UWGB as a registered nurse. Karissa held many positions within the healthcare field throughout her lifetime. Her desire to help people led her to start her career at the CP Center. As she furthered her education, she took a position at Woodside Nursing Home. Karissa presently worked as an RN at Prevea in endocrinology after receiving her Bachelor of Nursing Degree. Her passion for helping all people, no matter who, was evident in every area she worked, and truly showed how loving, caring, and compassionate she was. Karissa enjoyed spending her time at Krav Maga learning martial arts. She enjoyed exploring nature through hiking, kayaking, and skiing, and also loved spending time with her family and friends. She loved cooking, canning, and trying new recipes, but most importantly, studying the Bible. Above all, her love for the Lord took priority in her life. Her passion for God was shown through her worship as she sang with closed eyes and the biggest smile. She lived her life as a testament of the love of Jesus Christ through serving on mission trips, volunteering at events, and with her day-to-day interactions with others. She truly showcased the love of Christ by the way she lived her life. Karissa is survived by her parents, Bill and Lynn Peronto, three brothers, Shane, Nick, and Logan (special friend Jaid), grandparents Joanne Peronto and Darrel and Betty Cravillion, aunts and uncles Linda (Jeff) Joski, Jim (Kay) Peronto, Garth (friend, Karen) Davies, Bob (Brenda) Peronto, Sara (Matt) Cisz, Dan (Lisa) Cravillion, Cheryl (Paul) Melnarik, Janice Cravillion, Dave Cravillion, Patrick Cravillion and Dean Cravillion, as well as many cousins. Karissa was preceded in death by her grandfather Alvin Peronto and Aunt Wendy Davies. Even though we will miss her greatly on this earth, we take comfort in knowing that she will be spending eternity with our Lord Jesus.
