Kevin P. Romdenne
Kevin Philip Romdenne, (The Casco Kid) of Little Sturgeon passed away unexpectedly on February 4th, 2025. Kevin was born July 3rd, 1957, to Philip & Virgil (Bouche) Romdenne in Kewaunee county.
Kevin Grew up in Casco, WI where he attended Holy Trinity school & Luxemburg Casco High School, graduating in 1975.
In his youth he developed a love for fishing and hunting with his brother in between the many chores that developed his strong work ethic. Kevin's first jobs included, the Hanmann Feed Mill, Phone company in Casco and Bay Ship Builders. Kevin started his own construction business in 1976 where he continued to build lasting relationships, strong structures and long-standing friendships.
Kevin met his wife Lynnette at a church (picnic) in 2002. They married in 2021in the "Love Shack" at Autumn Fields so Kevin's Mom Virgil could attend. The life they built together included playing cards, going to NASCAR races, motorcycle rides and enjoying the cabin "Up North" in Sayner hand feeding deer (Cookie & Sugar) and teaching his sisters how to do the broom dance around the campfire.
Kevin mastered cooking side-pork, fishing, hunting, hosting fish fries, Harley rides, and was blessed to have many great friends, a close family, and enjoyed UTV riding, Casino trips, snowmobiling, & playing sheephead.
He belonged to the Southern Door Snow Travelers (SDST) for 40+ years and was voted as president numerous times.
Kevin will be sadly missed by his family: sisters: Therese Wagner (Algoma), Clarice Rollin (Luxemburg), Carla Hudson (Casco), Loretta (Dave) Krueger (Green Bay), brother Phil (Bonni) Romdenne (Casco), Step children April Delebreau, Frieda Rupers, Father-in-law Norbert Van De Hei, Brother & Sister In-laws: Gary & Debbie Van De Hei, Lori & John Calaway, Greg & Cheri Van De Hei, Glen & Jessica Van De Hei & Bob Komorowski, many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.
Preceded in Death by Parents Philip & Virgil Romdenne, twin sisters, Carlene & Charlene Romdenne, Brother In laws: Dan Hudson & Bob Wagner, Sister-in-law Lana Komorowski, Mother-In-law Carole Van De Hei, and his four legged buddies, Gunner, Archie, Porter, Tilly & Smokey.
Visitation will take place at McMahon Funeral Home, Luxemburg, on Sunday, February 16. 2025, from 2-5 pm. Visitation will continue at the funeral home on Monday February 17, 2025 from 9:00-1045: am with a closing prayer / memorial service at 11:00 am with Fr. Dennis Drury officiating. In Lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
