Leslie N. Malcore, 89, of Luxemburg, went home to Jesus on Sunday, December 22, 2024, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He was born on May 15, 1935, to the late Goldie J. and Anna M. (Laurent) Malcore. He married Laverne M. Devos on November 18, 1953, at St Hubert Church, Rosiere.
Leslie was a hard worker, whether at Hamachek in Kewaunee for 38 years, working on the farm or making wood. He helped on his son's farm at the age of 89 until about three months before he died. He was always there to help his children.
Leslie was a quiet man but get him one on one and you would have a great conversation with him, especially if talking farming. He had a special bond with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed his TV programs, Molly B, Polka, Polka, Game Show Network, and Westerns.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Laverne; their children, Karen (Lyle) Zellner, Lyle (Special Friend Susan) Malcore, Randy Malcore, Steve (Lisa) Malcore, Lori (Chris) Delwiche, Julie (Kelly) Pinchart, Rob (Lora) Malcore, and Sherry Malcore; 19 grandchildren, and 42 great grandchildren, with one on the way. He is further survived by one sister, Mary Ann (Gene) Vandermause; and one brother Mike (Judy) Malcore; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Vic Knappmiller, Ann and Pete Kashik, Shirley Devos and Terry Devos.
Leslie was preceded in death by his parents Goldie and Anna; his in-laws, John and Evelyn Devos; his grandson, Chad Zellner; one sister-in-law and three brothers-in-law, Esther Knappmiller, John Jr. Devos, Ron Devos, and Tom Devos; and three nephews.
Friends may call at the McMahon Funeral Home in Luxemburg, 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024. Visitation will continue between 8:30 am - 10:45 am on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Sugarbush. The funeral will take place at 11:00 am on Saturday with Rev. Patrick Beno officiating. Entombment in the Shrine of the Good Shepherd Mausoleum.

The family wishes to thank the many Doctors and Nurses who helped Dad through the years of his health challenges, the Luxemburg Fire and Rescue Team, Unity Hospice, the staff of the Jack and Engrid Meng Hospice Residence, and Father Patrick Beno, who was with us in Dad's last hour.
