Lucille M. Barbiaux, 91, of Luxemburg passed away peacefully on Monday, June 7, 2021 at Bellin Hospital. She was born on April 6, 1930 in Luxemburg to the late George F. and Mary P. (Gauthier) Lemens. Lucille graduated from St. Mary School and Luxemburg High School. She married Jonas D. Barbiaux on November 17, 1951 at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2017. Lucille worked a short time for Lloyd Meacham Realty, Green Bay and later at the Gambles Store/Lemens Hardware Store, Luxemburg, for many years. Lucille was an avid bowler and golfer in Luxemburg area leagues. She was also an avid sports fan and enjoyed following Luxemburg-Casco sports as well as sporting and school events of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She and Jonas were Packer season ticket holders for many years. She had many talents which resulted in several wedding and first communion dresses for her daughters and granddaughters, as well as beautiful wedding cakes. Lucille was a member of The Christian Mother Society of St. Mary Church and a long-time volunteer at the Chapel, Our Lady of Good Help in Champion, leading the Rosary for many years. Lucille is survived by eight children, Mary Lou (Arlin) Karnopp, LuAnne (John) Kaye, Bob (Janie) Barbiaux, Sue (Ken) Davister, Bill (Nancy) Barbiaux, Kathy (Pete) VanDeHey, Debbie (Dennis) Mercier, and Janelle (Jeff) Zoeller; 23 grandchildren, Candy (Steve) Hanmann, Angie (Mike) Peterson, Kate (Bruce) Kinjerski, Rob (Nicole) Karnopp, Dusty (Danielle) Karnopp, Jim (Jessica) Kaye, Kevin (Kate) Kaye, Amy (Will) Rutherford, Nick (Jenn) Davister, Michelle (Tim) Boland, Alison (Adam) Dedrick, Peter (Jordyn) Barbiaux, Tim (Ashley) Barbiaux, Steve (Erin) DeGrand, Danielle (Eric) Smith, Emily (Kyle) Geiger, Colyn VanDeHey, Nicole (Brian) Robley, Katrina VanDeHey, David (Jenna) Mercier, Dan (Natalie) Mercier, Dylan Mercier (Alicia Dalebroux), and Caleb Zoeller; 31 plus great-grandchildren, Madison, Sophie, Emma, Lydia, Bella, Abby, Ryker, Ainsley, Flora, Autumn, Alexis, Stella, Jacob, Bennett, Nora, Parker, Hudson, Jace, Clare, Jonas, Liam, Landon, Brayden, Ava, Jackson, Cole, Carson, Violet, Nolan, Aubree, Abe and three more on the way. She is also survived by one sister, Irma Daul; one brother, Harold Lemens; four sisters in law and one brother in law, Janice Lemens, Dorothy Heim, Bonnie Seiler, Marilyn and Tom Melchior; many nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one infant son, Joseph; one infant granddaughter, Jennifer Kaye; her parents; her mother in law and father in law, Dorothy and Elmer Barbiaux; one brother, Leonard Lemens; two sisters in law and seven brothers in law, Berdina Lemens, Harold Daul, Charles, Donald and Rita, Anthony, and Maurice Barbiaux, Lawrence Heim, Jerry Seiler; one niece and one nephew, Jenifer Heim and Dale Barbiaux.
