Mary Ann Kugel, 69, Luxemburg, died late Saturday evening, February 11, 2023, at a local hospital surrounded by prayers of her family. She was born on December 9, 1953, in Brown County to the late Alvin and Anna (Vanness) Kugel. She graduated from Luxemburg-Casco High School in 1972. Mary was an excellent cook and baker, sharing her talents with family and friends at holiday celebrations, especially on Christmas Eve. She had been employed with many local restaurants and super clubs. Her enjoyments included canning pickles and beets, mastering word search puzzles and Sunday morning conversations with Debbie. Survivors include her brothers and sisters, Jim (Bonnie) Kugel, Janice Stodola, Diane (Pete) Nackers, Mike Kugel, Robert Kugel; nieces and nephews, Stacy (Kevin) Lampe, Robyn Hallet, Kyle Stodola, Katie (Will) VanBeek, Ally (Justin Case) Ferron, Michael Lampe, Madelyn Case; her good friend Debbie Kramer. Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her grandparents; one brother in law, Wayne Stodola; one nephew, Brian Kugel; one niece, Angela Stodola. Friends may call between 9:00 and 10:45 am on Friday, February 24, 2023, at St. Therese Parish, St. Joseph-St. John Site in Pilsen. Funeral 11:00 am on Friday at the church with Rev. Dennis Drury officiating and Christal Wavrunek assisting. Burial in St. Joseph Cemetery, Pilsen.
