Matthew J. Judkins

Matthew J. Judkins 48, Luxemburg, WI passed away suddenly, the result of a cardiac event, Sunday March 17, 2024. Matt was born June 14, 1975, to Ron J. and Sharon K. (Gruber) Judkins. He entered the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged in 2001. He went on to pursue a career in IT. He was employed as the Operations Manager at Loyality. On July 15, 1994, he married Joy C. Dorner at St. Mary Church Luxemburg, WI. Matt enjoyed time with his family, gaming, bowling on Monday nights, golfing, running and watching sports. He volunteered for several years in various positions for the Luxemburg Casco Area Running Club. He never passed up a bonfire or garage beers with friends. He loved his Traeger and feeding his friends and family any opportunity he had. He is survived by his wife of nearly thirty years, Joy; three children Riley (Sasha Andrewjeski) Judkins, Hannah (fiancé Brandon Grovogel) and Noah Judkins; one granddaughter Jaina Judkins; his parents Ron and Sharon Judkins; siblings Josh (Bree) Judkins, Katrina (Ron) Ninham; nephews and nieces Cole, Chloe, Aby, Beau, Chase and Carter; Grandmother Rita Gruber; Mother-in-law Mary Dorner and two fur babies Juliette and Piper. Matt was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Leland and Elaine Judkins; maternal grandfather Eugene Gruber; his father in law, David Dorner. Friends may call at St. Mary Church in Luxemburg, between 9:30 and 11:45 am on Thursday, March 21, 2024. The funeral will be held at NOON on Thursday with Rev. Daniel Schuster officiating. Burial in St. Mary Cemetery, Luxemburg, will full military rites provided by the American Legion Ralph Kline Post 262 of Luxemburg. Special thanks to the Luxemburg Fire and Rescue, the staff at the ER department of Aurora Hospital and the Kewaunee County Sheriff’s department for their care and comfort.
