He graduated from Luxemburg High School. He was a dedicated and hard-working farmer and was also employed by James River Paper Mill for 25 years. Orville married the love of his life, Sedonie (Shimek) Zeitler of Manitowoc on July 15, 1961. They raised four wonderful children that were his pride and joy. Orville was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Montpelier. He enjoyed fishing, playing sheepshead, doing woodwork, birdwatching and puzzles. He loved Sedonie’s desserts, polka music, and a good cold Little Soldier. He enjoyed laughing and telling stories about his past. He was easy going, approachable, and a great listener. Survivors included a brother, Larry (Dianne) Zeitler; and a sister, Janice (Roger) Luedtke, and many nieces and nephews. Orville was preceded in death by his parents, one infant brother, Leo; two sisters, Carolyn Gruetzmacher and Bertha Zeitler; and one brother-in-law, Dana Gruetzmacher.
