Paul L. Laurent, 56, Luxemburg, passed away at home with family on Friday, October 28, 2022, after a short battle with cancer. Paul was born November 2, 1965, in Algoma. He went to school and graduated from Algoma High School in 1984. Paul spent most of his adult life living in the Fox Valley area. He worked in the Heating and Cooling field and was owner and operator of AccuTemp Heating and Cooling until 2016, when he was forced to retire due to injuries from an accident. Paul was an active person who loved adventure and travel. He enjoyed running, biking, boating, sailing, and diving. He ran in many marathons including the Boston Marathon and the Ironman Wisconsin. He had a passion for flying from young on, enjoyed going to airshows and was a longtime member of the EAA. He was able to achieve his childhood dream of getting his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. Paul is survived by his mother Ruthann (Bruce) Tebon; sisters, Carol (Steve) Petersen, Sandy (Jeff) Bryant, brother Daniel (Sara) Laurent, sisters Leah (Joe) Salazar, Debbie (Brian) Bain; uncle Ron (Janet) Laurent; aunts Lisa Laurent, Shirley Villers; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his father Larry Laurent; sister Tamara Laurent; uncles Lee Laurent and Harvey Villers; his grandparents Norman & Mae Laurent and Ernest & Grace Villers. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Compass Development in Luxemburg for all of their loving special care and hard work in caring for Paul.
