Stodola, Ronald H Passed on Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at age 69 at a local hospital. Ron was born in Pilsen, WI, to Joseph and Dorothy Stodola. He earned an accounting degree at UW Whitewater, worked at the IRS for many years, then started his own successful firm in Denmark, WI where he resided with his wife and family. He was an avid hunter, bowler, trapshooter and loyal friend. Ron will be remembered most for his strong faith and generosity. He regularly donated to local churches and charities. He also loved spending time with his friends and family, teaching his grandchildren to fish, playing sheepshead, taking trips around the country, and simply sharing in wonderful conversation and laughs at a local diner or restaurant. Ron will be greatly missed by all who knew him. On June 8, 1974 in St. Paul, Minnesota he shared a life in marriage and love for 44 years with Nancy (Tarman) Stodola. He is survived by his 9 children and 12 grandchildren: Tim (Emily) with children Henry and Natalie; Jen (Dustin Hillman) with child Cassie; Niki (Ron Vosika) with children Ethan, Mason, and Logan; Chris (Mackenzie) with child Penny; Andy (Megan) with children Kaden and Peyton; Betsy (Nick Rankin) with children Bentley and Alister; Shelly (Jared Lemon) with child Charlie; Matt; and Josh. He is further survived by his siblings: Joseph (Peggy Novak), Rita (Ron Christman), and Rose (Dennis Mayer). In addition, he is survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Dorothy and Joseph Stodola; father-in-law and mother-in-law, James and Virginia Tarman; and brother-in-law, Mark Tarman.
